A Special Case for Alternative Energy on Long Island

Oil prices going down are putting a chill on alternative energy initiatives. This is not a good thing , especially for Long Island. We need alternate energy more than most areas of the country because it is also much more environmentally friendly than oil-based energy, a major issue considering our high population density.
